Hyundai Palisade vs The Competition

Hyundai Palisade vs. the Competition: See How It Fares Against Other 3-Row Rivals

The Hyundai Palisade has been a huge hit since its debut in 2020. A complete redesign for 2026 makes it even better. The new Palisade is roomier and more upscale. A new XRT Pro trim delivers light off-road capability without sacrificing ride comfort. Other three-row midsize SUVs like the Kia Telluride, 2026 Honda Pilot, and Mazda CX-90 offer seating for seven or eight, but they can't match the Palisade's all-around appeal. At Withnell Hyundai in Salem, OR, we have a wide array of Palisade trims in our new inventory, and we're happy to compare the Palisade to its rivals to help with your decision.

Hyundai Palisade vs. Kia Telluride

The Kia Telluride is the Hyundai Palisade's corporate cousin, so there are many similarities between these two Korean-made SUVs. However, Albany, OR drivers will like the Palisade's ultra-luxurious interior. Calligraphy trims have genuine Nappa leather upholstery and a massage function for the driver's seat. These models also come with a head-up display and a digital rear-view mirror that allows you to see out of the back even with a fully loaded cargo area. The Hyundai Palisade's standard V6 engine generates 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque for effortless passing on the highway.

The Kia Telluride's top-of-the-line SX Prestige trim comes with synthetic leather seats. It also features a head-up display, but a digital rear-view mirror is not available. The Telluride's turbocharged four-cylinder engine only generates 274 horsepower.

2026 Hyundai Palisade vs. 2026 Honda Pilot

The Hyundai Palisade has a well-equipped infotainment system that will help you stay entertained on long trips from Keizer. A 12.3-inch touchscreen comes standard, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel is available in all but the base trim. An integrated navigation system is also standard to help you find your way around unfamiliar cities. The Palisade even comes with a cabin intercom system for easier communication with third-row passengers.

The 2026 Honda Pilot also features a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. However, its largest digital instrument cluster is just 10.2 inches long. An integrated navigation system is not available in the 2026 Honda Pilot. A cabin intercom system is available, but you must buy a higher trim to have it.

Hyundai Palisade vs. Mazda CX-90

The Hyundai Palisade offers plenty of space for up to eight passengers to ride comfortably. Taller passengers will appreciate the Palisade's 32.1 inches of third-row legroom. Corvallis drivers can fit all their suitcases or camping gear in the Palisade, which has 19.1 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, 46.3 cubic feet with the third row folded, and 86.7 cubic feet of space with both back rows folded down. It's hard to beat the Palisade's infotainment system, which comes standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen.

The Mazda CX-90 has just 30.4 inches of third-row legroom. It also offers less cargo space than the Palisade, with only 14.9 cubic feet of space available behind the third row, 40 cubic feet when the rear bench is stowed and up to 74.2 cubic feet of room with both rear rows folded flat. The CX-90's standard infotainment touchscreen is just 10.25-inches long.
